In recent years, the phenomenon of EPR steering attracted much attention in quantum information community. Unlike the related phenomena of quantum entanglement and Bell's nonlocality, EPR steering is inherently asymmetrical and thus it allows for states steerable in one direction (Alice steer Bob) but not in the other (Bob steer Alice), which has important applications in the tasks of one-way quantum key distribution and the quantum subchannel discrimination. In my report, firstly, I will give a brief review of the worldwide research progress of the asymmetric characteristic of EPR steering. Then, I will introduce the latest experimental progress of one-way EPR-steering in our group. |
